Clare Rackham to be Langley’s head of prep

Clare Rackham, Langley School head of prep

, UK, has appointed Clare Rackham as its new head of prep, starting in September 2025.

Clare has worked in education for 20 years and has been a senior leader for 11 years.

She has worked as head of the state-funded, in Surrey for the past five years.

Her experience includes the role of teaching school director, executive leadership coach and mentor, and the strategic lead for curriculum and artificial intelligence.

Langley School said Mrs Rackham 鈥渃hampions holistic, inquiry-based learning that integrates outdoor education, technology and global citizenship鈥.

Mrs Rackham said: “From the moment I entered Langley Prep School, I was captivated by the warmth and vibrancy of the community. Clare was born in Farnham in Surrey and, after her school years, studied at Canterbury Christ Church University. The mother of two has links to Norfolk, and her husband is a former officer in the Royal Anglian Regiment. Her parents have lived in the county for 20 years.
